Resistere per Esistere (Resist to Exist) is a 2022 mid-lenght documentary film about Ex Socrate Occupato, a squatted space in the city of Bari.

Over the voices of the residents speaking for themself and sharing their own recollection of memories, over the ally community loudly demanding a fairer welfare, run the images showing the fight for self determination of those who have been robbed of their place in the city.  

A collage made out of raw material, amateur witnessing violence, chatting in small rooms, videocalls, nonsense animation and punk music. A case for the Right to housing. 

We had screenings happening in cultural centers, Universities and CSOAs all around Italy (Bari, Torino, Milano)
